This is a video that I made the other week when I revisited the site with all the abandoned homes ready to be demolished. I have not used video before so I feel it looks very unprofessional but I would like to work on this.

I have decided that I would like to do a project about my family home. Number 32 tranby lane is were me and my mum both spent our childhoods, and now years later as adult we have once again returned to this family home. I am interested in the memory that are locked in the walls of this house.

I would really like to do something inside the buildings to try and put the life back into them, I also like the idea that the work I do inside the building with be demolished with it. I have been reading a book called up in the air wich is about several artist who did a site project in a tower block a few weeks before it was to be demolished. Each artist createed wvery different pieces of work to do with the building and the people who once lived with in it. The book has helped insire soem new ideas and has also given me some ideas for a new project as well.

I have been looking at the work by artist Alison Marchant, as she has done work to do with looking at the history of abandoned homes.
